The monks of various religious orders produced wine, in Vinha da Ordem, over the centuries, from the foundation of Portugal, XII century, justifying the name by which is known the ‘Vinho da Ordem’. 

Wine claret, unusual wine, interesting to drink 12-14.º C. Red with violet tints. Aroma of ripe red fruits, strawberry, cherry, mineral smooth. In the mouth it is a fruity wine with soft acidity, velvety tannins, with structure, body, persistent ending with dry vegetable
